Surface Mount Bollard 140mm x 1200mm — Safety Yellow | Bolt-Down Base Plate

140mm x 1200mm surface mount bollard in powdercoated safety yellow. Bolts straight down onto existing concrete — no excavation, no core drilling, no waiting on a footing to cure. Supplied with a fully welded, pre-drilled base plate, ready to fix. The heaviest of our standard surface mount sizes and the usual choice where a bollard has to take real punishment.

Installation

1. Stand the bollard in position and mark the four hole positions through the base plate.
2. Drill to the depth specified on your fixing pack.
3. Blow out the dust, reseat the bollard and insert the four fixings.
4. Tighten evenly. Re-check the fixings after the first few weeks of use.

No excavation and no concrete work required. One person can install one in around 15 minutes on sound concrete.

Before you order

• This is an asset protection and access control bollard. It is not crash rated and is not tested to PAS 68 or IWA 14. For hostile vehicle mitigation, call us on 1300 291 700.
• The concrete needs to be sound and thick enough to hold a mechanical anchor. On asphalt use the asphalt fixings; on soft ground you'll need a concrete footing first.
• Check the base plate footprint fits your available surface before ordering, particularly near a slab edge or expansion joint.
