What fixings do I need, and are they included?

Four per bollard, sold separately. Add a concrete or asphalt pack on this page. Concrete fixings suit concrete, solid brick and stone; asphalt fixings are made for asphalt surfaces.

Will this stop a vehicle?

It is built to deter and control vehicle access and to protect assets from low-speed impact. It is not crash rated and is not tested to PAS 68 or IWA 14. If you need hostile vehicle mitigation, call us on 1300 291 700.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. Mark the holes through the base plate, drill, bolt down. No excavation and no concrete cure time. One person, around 15 minutes on sound concrete.

Can I install it on asphalt or pavers?

Use the asphalt fixings for asphalt. On soft ground you will need a concrete footing first. On pavers, fix through to the slab beneath rather than into the paver itself.

How tall is it, and is there a taller version?

900mm above ground once installed, which is the low-profile option in our range. A 1300mm high version of the same 90mm diameter is available, and the 140mm range is heavier duty.

How is it finished, and will it rust?

Galvanised steel, powdercoated yellow, suited to outdoor exposure. Touch up any drilling or transport damage so the coating stays sealed. For coastal or high-salt sites, consider the stainless steel version.

Stand the bollard in position and mark the four hole positions through the base plate.
Drill to the depth specified on your fixing pack.
Blow out the dust, reseat the bollard and insert the four fixings.
Tighten evenly. Re-check the fixings after the first few weeks of use.
