Surface Mount Bollard - 90mm (1300mm High)

90mm x 1300mm surface mount bollard in yellow. Bolts straight down onto existing concrete — no excavation, no core drilling, no waiting on a footing to cure. The tall option in our 90mm range, for where a shorter post sits below a driver's eyeline.

Why 1300mm rather than 900mm

At 900mm a bollard sits below the bonnet line of most utes, vans and SUVs, which is fine for marking a boundary but easy to miss when reversing. At 1300mm it stays in view through the mirrors and over the bonnet. Choose this height where vehicles manoeuvre close to the bollard, where the site has poor lighting, or where the thing behind the bollard is expensive.

• Reversing and manoeuvring areas — stays visible where a shorter bollard disappears under the bonnet.
• Roller doors and building entries — protects door tracks and frames without the bulk of a 140mm post.
• Switchboards, gas meters and exposed plant — keeps vehicles off services.
• Walkways and pedestrian thresholds — a clear, tall separation between foot and vehicle traffic.

Installation

1. Stand the bollard in position and mark the four hole positions through the base plate.
2. Drill to the depth specified on your fixing pack.
3. Blow out the dust, reseat the bollard and insert the four fixings.
4. Tighten evenly. Re-check the fixings after the first few weeks of use.

No excavation and no concrete work required. One person can install one in around 15 minutes on sound concrete.

Before you order

• This is an asset protection and access control bollard. It is not crash rated and is not tested to PAS 68 or IWA 14. For hostile vehicle mitigation, call us on 1300 291 700.
• The concrete needs to be sound and thick enough to hold a mechanical anchor. On asphalt use the asphalt fixings; on soft ground you'll need a concrete footing first.
• If the bollard is likely to be struck rather than just seen, step up to the 140mm range — more diameter does more than more height.
