Removable Surface Mount Bollard - 90mm Key Lock

90mm x 1000mm removable bollard with a key lock. The base plate bolts down permanently; the post twists in and out of it, so you can lock the access closed most of the time and lift the bollard out when you need to drive through. Supplied with two keys.

What makes this one different

• Double locking mechanism — the post is held by the lock and by the twist engagement, not by the lock alone.
• Thickened sleeve — the post seats tight in the base and doesn't wobble the way a loose-fit removable does after a season of use.
• 316 stainless fold-down handle — sits flush when it's not being carried, and it's fixed with screws rather than pop rivets, so it can't be popped off in seconds like most on the market.

Installation

1. Position the base plate and mark the hole positions through it.
2. Drill to the depth specified on your fixing pack, blow out the dust and reseat.
3. Fix the base plate down and tighten evenly.
4. Twist the post into the base and lock it. Check it lifts out cleanly before you leave site.

No excavation required — the base plate surface mounts onto existing concrete.

Before you order

• The post lifts out, so you'll need somewhere to store it while the access is open. At 15.4kg it's a one-person lift.
• This is an access control bollard. It is not crash rated and is not tested to PAS 68 or IWA 14. For hostile vehicle mitigation, call us on 1300 291 700.
• The concrete needs to be sound and thick enough to hold a mechanical anchor. On asphalt or soft ground you'll need a concrete footing first.
• If you want the access controlled without anything to carry or store, a fold-down parking protector may suit better — it stays attached and folds flat.
