How many keys come with it, and can I get more?

Two keys are supplied with each bollard. Additional keys are available on request — call 1300 291 700 or email sales@esafetysupplies.com.au.

If I buy several, will they all use the same key?

Yes. These bollards are keyed alike, so one key opens every unit. That is what makes them practical for a strata carpark or a staff carpark with multiple reserved bays — you issue one key rather than managing a different padlock per bay.

Should I choose the key lock or the padlock version?

Take the key lock if you want it ready to use out of the box, or if you are fitting several bays and want one key across all of them. Take the padlock version if you want to control the keying yourself — keying it to an existing suite, or using a restricted-key padlock so no one else's key will open it.

Yes, once it is folded flat — it sits 70mm off the ground when down. Always fold it before driving over it. Driving over it while upright will damage the unit.

Will it stop a car that ignores it?

No. This is a deterrent that reserves a space, not a security barrier. It is not crash rated and is not designed to be driven into or parked on. If you need a fixed barrier, look at our surface mount or inground bollards.

What fixings do I need?

Ground fixings are sold separately — add a concrete or asphalt pack on this page. Concrete fixings suit concrete, solid brick and stone; asphalt fixings are made for asphalt.

Installation

Position the base at the head of the bay, clear of where a wheel will sit.
Mark the hole positions through the base plate.
Drill to the depth specified on your fixing pack, blow out the dust, reseat and fix down.
Raise the post and check it locks upright.
