Removable Surface Mount Bollard Slider - 140mm Key Lock

140mm removable bollard on a bolt-down base. The base plate fixes permanently to existing concrete; the post slides in and out of it and locks with a key. No excavation and no coring — the whole thing bolts to the surface. 1000mm stands above ground. Two keys supplied.

What makes this one different

• No coring required — unlike an inground removable, the base bolts to the slab, so it suits sites where you cannot cut into the surface.
• Double locking mechanism — the post is held by the lock and by the slide engagement, not by the lock alone.
• Thickened base — the post seats tight and won't develop a wobble over time.
• 316 stainless fold-down handle — flush when not in use, and screw-fixed rather than pop-riveted, so it cannot be popped off in seconds.
• Two keys supplied.

One post, several locations

Additional bases are available separately. Fit a base at each point you need to close off, and move the one post between them — useful for sites that shut different accesses at different times, or for events. Additional bases are here.

Installation

1. Position the base and mark the hole positions through it.
2. Drill to the depth specified on your fixing pack, blow out the dust and reseat.
3. Fix the base down and tighten evenly.
4. Slide the post in, lock it, and check it lifts out cleanly before you leave site.

Before you order

• The post lifts out, so you'll need somewhere to store it while the access is open. At 13kg it is a one-person lift.
• This is an access control bollard. It is not crash rated and is not tested to PAS 68 or IWA 14.
• Where the surface can be cored or excavated, an inground removable will resist an impact better — a bolt-down base is only as strong as the anchors and the slab.
