The HeartSine Pad-Paks are designed to provide a convenient and reliable solution for users of the HeartSine defibrillator series. These innovative cartridges contain both electrodes and batteries in one cassette, eliminating the need to worry about expiring components. This concept is not only more efficient but also more cost-effective throughout the device's lifecycle. The Pad-Paks are suitable for use with the HeartSine defibrillator series, including the PAD 350P, PAD 360P, and PAD 500. They are designed for use on children under 25kg. The cartridges have a shelf life of four years from the date of manufacture and provide 60 shocks or continuous monitoring over a period of six hours. Installation is straightforward, requiring just one click to install the cartridge. This simplicity and ease of use make the HeartSine Pad-Paks an ideal choice for those who require a reliable and efficient defibrillator solution. The HeartSine Pad-Paks are a single use device, containing a battery power source and defibrillation electrodes that can only be used with the samaritan PAD devices.

This product is not a substitute for direct medical attention from a healthcare practitioner.

What are the key components of a defibrillator system?:
A defibrillator system typically includes the device itself, consumables (pads, batteries), protective cases or cabinets, signage for visibility, and training equipment to ensure proper use. Each component plays a crucial role in ensuring the device is ready and accessible in emergencies.

How often should defibrillators and their accessories be maintained?:
Defibrillators and accessories should be inspected regularly, at least every 3-6 months, to check for any signs of wear, expired consumables, or damage. Batteries and pads should be replaced as per the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure the device is always functional.

Why is training important for using a defibrillator?:
Training ensures that individuals are familiar with how to operate a defibrillator effectively in an emergency. It builds confidence in using the device and improves response time, increasing the chances of saving a life during a cardiac arrest situation..
