Helping Our Community This Holiday Season
At eSafety Supplies, we’re passionate about keeping people safe. Not just in the workplace, but in life. That’s why this Friday, 19 December, we were proud to take part in the Salvation Army Food Drive, collecting and delivering non-perishable food items to support people and families doing it tough this holiday season.
Why the Salvation Army Food Drive Matters
Across Australia, food insecurity is a very real and pressing issue. According to recent findings from The Salvation Army, many Australians struggle to put enough food on the table, with households often forced to skip meals or cut back on nutritious food due to financial pressures and rising living costs.
For families with children, the impact can be even more profound, with parents sometimes sacrificing their own meals so their kids can eat.
A food drive helps provide essential support at a time when it’s needed most. Restocking food banks, topping up pantry staples, and giving dignity and relief to people facing hardship. Every tin of soup, packet of pasta, or can of beans donated goes straight to families who urgently need it.
Our Commitment to Community Safety and Wellbeing
eSafety Supplies has always stood for more than just quality safety gear — we believe in community wellbeing and support, too. Just as our products help protect people in workplaces across Australia, we believe that coming together as a community to support neighbours in need is essential for a healthy and resilient society, especially this time of year.
Whether it’s helping keep workers safe on site with high-visibility gear, spill kits, or protective equipment, our mission centres on care, prevention, and wellbeing. Extending that mission beyond the workplace and into our local communities is a natural fit for who we are and what we value as a company. Hotfrog
How We Get Involved
We encouraged every member of the eSafety team to contribute non-perishable food items to our office to pack hampers. Spread the word! Share with their network to increase the impact.
Every contribution, big or small, helps. Together, we can make sure more families have enough food to enjoy the holidays with dignity and peace of mind.
