The Mezzanine Up & Over Gate (Incl Latch) is a warehouse safety gate designed for mezzanine loading areas where pallets and goods are transferred between floor levels. This gate system creates a controlled loading zone by separating the pallet loading edge from the mezzanine work area, helping maintain organised and compliant warehouse operations.

The up and over gate design ensures that one side of the mezzanine edge remains closed during loading and unloading activities. This allows forklifts to safely place pallets onto mezzanine levels while maintaining a physical barrier along the platform edge.

The gate now includes a latch mechanism as part of the complete system. The latch is supplied with the Mezzanine Up & Over Gate and is not an additional product.

Gas-assisted lifting arms provide smooth and controlled movement, making the gate easy to operate during daily warehouse use. The prefabricated flat pack design allows for easier transport, handling, and installation on site.

This mezzanine safety gate is commonly used in warehouses, factories, logistics facilities, and distribution centres with mezzanine storage platforms.

To ensure compliance with AS1657, the Up & Over Gate now requires a latch mechanism. This now comes with each Mezzanine Up & Over Gate.

• 2 × HRC125
• 3 × HRC199
• 2 × HR350 cap
• 1 × HR350
• 1 × M10 × 65mm nut and bolt to secure HR350
• 2 × CLS0075 M6 × 90mm nut and bolt with 2 × washers
  

Installation Considerations

Before installing the mezzanine gate, consider the following:

Overhead Clearance
Ensure there is sufficient vertical space for the gate to open fully without contacting ceilings, lighting, or sprinkler systems.

Rear Clearance
The up-and-over gate requires clearance behind the gate for proper operation.

Operator Familiarisation
Ensure staff are familiar with the correct operation of the gate and latch mechanism.

Maintenance Access
Allow access to moving components such as pivot points, gas struts, and the latch mechanism for inspection and maintenance.
