Overview

General purpose minibooms are the first line of defence against a spill — a flexible barrier you place at the edge of a leak to stop it spreading before it fouls stock, contaminates other liquids, or reaches a stormwater drain. Each 75mm x 1.2m boom absorbs up to 5.5 litres.

What it's for

Manufactured from 100% melt-blown polypropylene with a tough outer mesh casing, this miniboom handles both petroleum-based and water-based liquids — oil, fuel, coolant, and general non-aggressive spills. The mesh keeps saturated media contained in one piece so you can lift and dispose of it cleanly once it's done its job.

Single-use item

Like all loose absorbent media, this boom is a consumable — once saturated it should be bagged and disposed of per your site's waste procedures, not wrung out and reused. For larger or repeat spill scenarios, pair it with a full Spill Kit or the 3m Miniboom for extended coverage.
