Designed for first-response fire protection, it is suitable for Class A fires and has demonstrated strong performance in controlling and extinguishing lithium-ion battery fires during independent testing.
Containing F-500 EA extinguishing agent, these extinguishers are suitable for environments where lithium-ion batteries are commonly used, including EV charging stations, electric vehicle workshops, car dealerships, warehouses, battery storage areas, renewable energy facilities, and industrial workplaces.
The F-500 EA agent is fluorine-free, non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-hazardous, and fully biodegradable, providing an environmentally responsible fire suppression solution. Both models comply with AS/NZS 1841.2:2007 as water-type fire extinguishers.
Important: There is currently no Australian Standard specifically for portable fire extinguishers designed for lithium-ion battery fires. Independent testing has demonstrated the effectiveness of the F-500 EA extinguishers on lithium-ion battery fires; however, this testing is separate from the scope of the AS/NZS 1841.2 certification.
Portable fire extinguishers are intended for use by trained individuals as first-attack fire protection on small, contained fires only. If a fire spreads rapidly or produces heavy smoke, evacuate immediately and call 000.
