Prestart Books

Prestart books (also called pre-start checklists or daily inspection books) are the paper-based logbooks used before operating machinery, vehicles, or plant on a work site. This collection is a broad hub covering pre-start checklist books for a wide range of equipment types, from light vehicles and forklifts through to cranes, earthmoving machinery, and mobile plant. Each book is designed to record the mandatory daily visual and operational checks before equipment is put into service, supporting a documented and auditable safety process.
