Module Kits

Module kits are a colour-coded, modular approach to first aid, allowing individual injury-specific modules (such as burns, eye injuries, or snake bite) to be combined into a larger station or cabinet, or carried separately. This collection includes the MODULATOR 4 Series cabinets and softpacks, individual Mediq Incident Ready and MODULATOR modules, and the AEROKIT First Aid Station.

What's included:

• First aid stations: AEROKIT First Aid Station with 6 Modules and the MODULATOR 4 Series Metal Cabinet and Softpack
• Injury-specific MODULATOR modules: Blue Eye Wound, Green Cuts & Grazes, Orange Snake Bite, Purple Dressings & Bandage, Red Burns, Yellow Trauma, and a Waterproof Tough module
• Mediq Incident Ready modules: Eye, Burns, Haemorrhage (Major Bleeding), Minor Wounds, and Outdoor/Snake/Spider modules

Use cases:

• Workplaces restocking existing stations: replace or top up a single module (e.g. burns or eye wash) without needing to buy a whole new kit
• Sites building a custom first aid response: combine specific modules into a cabinet or softpack based on the site's actual injury risk profile
• Remote, outdoor, and field teams: the Outdoor/Snake/Spider and Waterproof Tough modules suit sites away from immediate medical help

FAQs

What's the benefit of a modular first aid system over a fixed kit?
Modules can be added, removed, or replaced individually as a site's risk profile changes, and used-up modules can be restocked without discarding the whole kit.

What's the difference between the MODULATOR and Mediq Incident Ready modules?
Both are colour-coded, injury-specific modules; MODULATOR modules are designed to slot into the MODULATOR 4 Series cabinet or softpack, while Mediq Incident Ready modules are designed for the AEROKIT-style first aid station.

Do I need to buy a cabinet or softpack to use the individual modules?
The modules are designed to sit within a compatible station (such as the MODULATOR 4 Series or AEROKIT), so a housing unit is generally needed if you don't already have one.

How do I know which modules my workplace needs?
This should be based on a workplace risk assessment — for example, sites with plant and machinery may prioritise the Trauma and Haemorrhage modules, while outdoor sites may add the Outdoor/Snake/Spider module.
