What is the EcoBund made from?

The floor is 1000gsm geomembrane with seam-free construction, and the walls are supported by 3mm aluminium braces in welded pockets.

How many pallets, IBCs or drums fit?

The 1000L holds 2 pallets, the 1750L holds 4 and the 2500L holds 6. Check that the bund's capacity covers the volume you're storing, not just the footprint.

What capacity do I need to comply?

Bund sizing depends on what you store and on your state EPA rules. For flammable and combustible liquids, check AS 1940. If you're unsure, send us your container list and we'll size it.

Can I use it outdoors in the rain?

Yes. Rainwater will collect in it, so you either pump it out or fit the optional filter, which drains water while trapping 99.8% of hydrocarbons.

Can I put a running generator in it?

Yes. Anti-vibration nitrile pads are available to protect the floor under generators and pumps.

Is a datasheet available?

Yes, contact sales@esafetysupplies.com.au or call 1300 291 700 and we'll send it the same day.

Portable bunding for site, plant and temporary storage

The EcoBund is a portable bund that goes down wherever you need containment: under a generator on a roadworks site, around fuel cubes and IBCs at a compound, or under drums during a shutdown. When the job moves, it folds down and moves with you.

How it's built

Floor: 1000gsm geomembrane, chosen for chemical resistance. The floor is seam-free, so there are no welded floor joins to fail under load or UV.
Walls: held upright by 3mm aluminium braces. The braces sit in high-frequency welded pockets and run under the bund floor, so the weight of the stored load helps hold the walls in place.

Which size do I need?

Sizes are rated by how many standard pallets fit inside:

1000L (TSSEB2): 2.5 x 1.6m, holds 2 pallets
1750L (TSSEB4): 2.5 x 2.8m, holds 4 pallets
2500L (TSSEB6): 2.5 x 4.0m, holds 6 pallets

All sizes have a 250mm wall height. Size the bund to the volume it has to hold, not just the footprint.

Common uses

Generators, lighting towers and pumps on civil and roadworks sites
Fuel cubes and refuelling points
Temporary IBC and drum storage
Maintenance and wash-down areas
Emergency spill response

Options

Anti-vibration nitrile pads, for generators or pumps mounted inside the bund
Oil/water filter, which lets rainwater drain out while trapping 99.8% of hydrocarbons, for outdoor use

Ask our team to add either option to your order: 1300 291 700 or sales@esafetysupplies.com.au.
